Alverton

Alverton is a hamlet and civil parish in Nottinghamshire, England, part of the Newark and Sherwood district. It is joined by the neighbouring parish of Kilvington to form an area for a parish meeting. It contains 22 houses and is surrounded by farmland. The River Devon and its tributary the Winter Beck run along its eastern border. The population is included in the civil parish of Staunton, Notts.
