在电脑保存界中，磁带柜（有时也称为：tape silo或tape jukebox）是一个保存设备、设备，机内包含了一到多个磁带机（tape drives），同时机内也有多个沟槽可用来放置磁带匣（tape cartridges），并有机械手臂来抓取磁带匣，手臂上多半也设置条码读取器，能读取磁带匣上的条码，以此来辨识磁带匣的编号，而操作者与相关程序软件也透过编号的对应查表可得知磁带匣内所保存记录的内容数据，或至少可得知该匣的作用功效，此外手臂也具有自动演算能力，透过此能力使手臂能精确取出、放回各槽中的磁带匣。而透过大量的磁带匣存放与统整管理、统合运作的机械手臂，磁带柜可以管控庞大的保存容量。
