Aberdare High School (Welsh: Ysgol Uwchradd Aberdâr) was a comprehensive school in Aberdare, Wales.
The school is situated between the villages of Trecynon and Cwmdare and sited opposite the Coleg y Cymoedd site (formerly called Coleg Morgannwg).
Over 600 pupils attend this school, which has a separate sports facility, two annexes, an upper school and a lower school. The school recently joined the CVC (see Blaengwawr Comprehensive School), which allows the sixth form to commute to other schools for lessons. The headmaster is Ian Machin.
