一垒手（First Baseman，通常简写成1B）指的是在棒球或垒球比赛中，负责防守一垒的球员。其职责在于接捕一垒附近的击球，以及接捕守备球员的传球来促使击球跑垒员出局。

一垒手相对于其他内野手，为了能够迅速回到一垒，以接获其他野手的传球刺杀打者；而一垒有人时投手尚未投球前，一垒手经常须待在一垒垒包上待命牵制跑者，故守备范围为四名内野手中最小，因此过去常由专心打击而守备要求较低的强打型球员来担任。但现代棒球由于左打球员增加，一垒手不再是个不重防守的守备位置了。 内野的守备球员中，由于传球方向的关系，仅有一垒手是适合左撇子球员防守的位置。加上经常要接获大量传球，因此一垒手的体型通常较高大以便确实捕获各方向的来球，而若四肢较长，球进到手套的距离相对缩短，在对付打者时也能降低其上垒机率。

First base, or 1B, is the first of four stations on a baseball diamond which must be touched in succession by a baserunner in order to score a run for that player's team. A first baseman is the player on the team playing defense who fields the area nearest first base, and is responsible for the majority of plays made at that base.
