The white-capped redstart or white-capped water redstart (Chaimarrornis leucocephalus) is a species of bird of the family Muscicapidae, in the monotypic genus Chaimarrornis. The generic name of this species is derived from the Greek kheimarrhos meaning torrent and ornis meaning bird.
