Laius
In Greek mythology, King Laius (pronounced /ˈlaɪ.əs/), or Laios (Greek:Λάϊος) of Thebes was a divine hero and key personage in the Theban founding myth. Son of Labdacus, he was raised by the regent Lycus after the death of his father.
