融合爵士乐（Jazz fusion）是混合了两种以上风格的爵士乐，最常见的就是与摇滚乐混合的摇滚爵士乐。

1960年中期，由于摇滚乐等新兴起音乐潮流崛起，使得爵士乐逐渐没落。于是迈尔士戴维斯(Miles Davis)推出《In A Silent Way》、《Bitches Brew》，这2张专辑成功结合摇滚乐节奏、电子乐器和爵士乐，使得爵士乐有崭新风貌，因此这种让爵士乐风重新活过来的新颖曲风也被称为摇滚融合爵士乐(Jazz-Rock-Fusion)。

Jazz fusion (or simply fusion) is a musical genre that developed in the late 1960s when musicians combined aspects of jazz harmony and improvisation with styles such as funk, rock, rhythm and blues, and latin jazz. During this time many jazz musicians began experimenting with electric instruments and amplified sound for the first time. Electronic effects and keyboard synthesisers also featured. Many of the developments during the late 1960s and early 1970s have since become established elements of jazz fusion musical practice.
