Saint Emmeram of Regensburg (also Emeramus, Emmeran, Emeran, Heimrammi, Haimeran, or Heimeran) was born in Poitiers and he was a Christian bishop and a martyr. He was the first Bishop of Poitiers in Aquitaine. He died in circa 652 and is buried in St. Emeram's in Regensburg, Germany. His feast day in the Catholic Calendar of saints is September 22.
