垃圾车，又称垃圾桶货车，为载运废料处理的货车。因生活品质的提升，焚化炉等回收场并不适于创建在居住中心，所以需要垃圾车的运输处理。工作通常由垃圾站收集垃圾，跨区运输到市区之外的垃圾堆填区 或焚化炉。

垃圾车运载的物料，通常已经分类，因为现代的垃圾车为了增加运输量，会把车内的垃圾压缩和混合。
