Bistorta

Bistorta is a genus of flowering plants in the Polygonaceae family with only one accepted species, Bistorta sherei H. Ohba & Akiyama. It was historically included in Polygonum or Persicaria, but was supported as a separate clade by molecular phylogenetic analysis.
