Edinson Vólquez [VOHL-kess] (born July 3, 1983), is a Dominican professional baseball pitcher for the Kansas City Royals of Major League Baseball (MLB). He has also played in MLB for the Texas Rangers, Cincinnati Reds, San Diego Padres, Los Angeles Dodgers and Pittsburgh Pirates. He bats and throws right-handed.
