通古斯民族，指所有使用阿尔泰语系中满-通古斯语族的民族。

通古斯民族主要居住在中国、俄罗斯境内。现代在中国和俄罗斯都有分布的民族有：

• 满族（满洲族）
• 鄂伦春族
• 鄂温克族（又译埃文基人）
• 赫哲族（又译那乃人或纳奈人）
• 锡伯族

主要居住在俄罗斯的：

• 埃文人
• 乌德盖人
• 奥罗奇人
• 鄂罗克人
• 涅吉达尔人（人数只有500多人，被当作鄂温克人别支）
• 乌尔奇人

Tungusic peoples are the peoples who speak Tungusic languages. They inhabit Eastern Siberia and are recognized as distinct from Mongols and Turkic peoples. The first European description of a Tungusic people was by the Dutch traveller Isaac Massa in 1612.
