西海岸嘻哈（英语：West Coast hip hop）是嘻哈音乐的一种区域分支，囊括了所有发迹于美国西部地区的艺人或音乐作品，与之相对应的东海岸嘻哈则以纽约市为主。西海岸嘻哈的分支——匪帮说唱在20世纪90年代早期统治了电台播放以及音乐销售市场。而在90年代末，嘻哈音乐的焦点又重返东海岸，同时也开始融合大量南部嘻哈风格。西海岸嘻哈以其大量从放克和灵魂乐中采样，从而形成节拍而闻名。

西海岸嘻哈的另一特征是，有着丰富的地下嘻哈作品，其中洛杉矶和旧金山湾区更是两大热点地区。大多西海岸地下嘻哈作品比起主流的作品而言，更加注重抒情技巧。

The gangsta rap subgenre of West Coast hip hop began to dominate from a radio play and sales standpoint during the early 1990s with the birth of G-funk and the emergence of Suge Knight and Dr. Dre's Death Row Records.
