Balaam got up in the morning, saddled his donkey and went with the Moabite officials.

巴兰早晨起来，备上驴，和摩押的使臣一同去了。

So the Moabite officials returned to Balak and said, " Balaam refused to come with us" .

摩押的使臣就起来，回巴勒那里去，说：" 巴兰不肯和我们同来。"

So he went back to him and found him standing beside his offering, with all the Moabite officials.

他就回到巴勒那里，见他同摩押的使臣都站在燔祭旁边。

No Ammonite or Moabite or any of their descendants may enter the assembly of the Lord, not even in the tenth generation.

" 亚扪人或是摩押人不可入耶和华的会；他们的子孙虽过十代，也永不可入耶和华的会。

So he went to him and found him standing beside his offering, with the Moabite officials. Balak asked him, " What did the Lord say" ?

他就回到巴勒那里，见他站在燔祭旁边，摩押的使臣也和他在一处。巴勒问他说：" 耶和华说了什么话呢？"

When Balak heard that Balaam was coming, he went out to meet him at the Moabite town on the Arnon border, at the edge of his territory.

巴勒听见巴兰来了，就往摩押京城去迎接他，这城是在边界上，在亚嫩河旁。

" Spend the night here, " Balaam said to them, " and I will report back to you with the answer the Lord gives me" . So the Moabite officials stayed with him.

巴兰说：" 你们今夜在这里住宿，我必照耶和华所晓谕我的，回报你们。" 摩押的使臣就在巴兰那里住下了。

Those who conspired against him were Zabad, [ A variant of Jozabad ] son of Shimeath an Ammonite woman, and Jehozabad, son of Shimrith [ A variant of Shomer ] a Moabite woman.

背叛他的是亚扪妇人示米押的儿子撒拔和摩押妇人示米利的儿子约萨拔。

And Ruth the Moabite said to Naomi, " Let me go to the fields and pick up the leftover grain behind anyone in whose eyes I find favor" . Naomi said to her, " Go ahead, my daughter" .

摩押女子路得对拿俄米说：" 容我往田间去，我蒙谁的恩，就在谁的身后拾取麦穗。" 拿俄米说：" 女儿啊，你只管去。"
