吉尔伯特群岛，为太平洋西部的一座群岛，由16个环状珊瑚礁及一般珊瑚礁岛屿组成，为基里巴斯三大群岛当中最大，也是最西边的一座群岛。

基里巴斯首都南塔拉瓦所在的塔拉瓦环状珊瑚礁，便属于吉尔伯特群岛。由于塔拉瓦环状珊瑚礁拥有该国近一半的人口，使得吉尔伯特群岛成为三大群岛当中最重要的群岛。

The Gilbert Islands (Gilbertese:Tungaru; formerly Kingsmill or King's-Mill Islands) are a chain of sixteen atolls and coral islands in the Pacific Ocean. They form the main part of the Republic of Kiribati ("Kiribati" is the Kiribatese rendition of "Gilberts" ).
