Other names in common use include H2:NAD+ oxidoreductase, NAD+-linked hydrogenase, bidirectional hydrogenase, and hydrogenase. This enzyme participates in glyoxylate and dicarboxylate metabolism and methane metabolism. It has 6 cofactors: FAD, Iron, FMN, Flavin, Nickel, and Iron-sulfur.
