怀特腓德（George Whitefield，1714年12月16日－1770年9月30日）是基督教大觉醒运动中的重要人物之一，循道宗的共同创始人。

怀特腓德1714年12月16日生于英国格洛斯特（Gloucester），12岁时已发挥演说及表演长才。1732年进入牛津大学的彭布罗克学院（Pembroke College），在大学时悔改信耶稣基督。1733年结识约翰·卫斯理，受循道宗影响开始操练禁欲。1736年被按立为英国国教牧师。1738年抵达美国格鲁吉亚州，在各殖民据点巡回布道、提供民生补给品。同年回到英格兰，为他在格鲁吉亚州创立的孤儿院募款。1739年展开室外布道行动并第二次登陆北美洲巡回讲道。 1741年再次返英解决与约翰.卫斯理之间的鸿沟。同年结婚，10月第三度登陆北美洲，健康状况堪忧。1748年返抵伦敦，解决英国循道派的内部纷争，并向贵族传福音。1750年代积极呼吁：黑奴也有宝贵灵魂。1751年，在怀特腓德支持下，美国格鲁吉亚州恢复本已废除的奴隶制度。1760年代身体状况已极度恶劣，仍坚持巡回布道为主得灵魂。1764年准备扩大孤儿院事工，设立学院。1770年9月30日晚上，于北美麻萨诸塞州友人家的楼梯平台讲道，随即因身体不适而去世，传道三十四年，享年56岁」。

George Whitefield (December 27 [O.S. 16 December] 1714 –30 September 1770), also known as George Whitfield, was an English Anglican cleric who helped spread the Great Awakening in Britain and, especially, in the American colonies.

Born in Gloucester, England, he attended Pembroke College, Oxford University, where he met the Wesley brothers. He was one of the founders of Methodism and of the evangelical movement generally. In 1740, Whitefield traveled to America, where he preached a series of revivals that came to be known as the "Great Awakening". Whitefield was probably the most famous religious figure of the 18th century. He exercised influence over thousands in Great Britain and America by his oratory. He preached at least 18,000 times to perhaps 10 million hearers.
