It is divided into 100 piastres, or ersh (قرش [ʔeɾʃ]; plural قروش [ʔʊˈɾuːʃ]; Turkish:Kuruş), or 1,000 millimes (Arabic:مليم [mælˈliːm]; French:Millime).
