库纳族生活在巴拿马三个土着人民政治自治区或居留地，以及哥伦比亚的一些小村庄。此外在巴拿马城、科隆和其他城市也有库纳人社区。雅拉库纳族自治区是库纳人生活最多的一个地区，其他两个自治区为马顿干迪库纳族自治市和瓦尔干迪库纳族自治市。

The Guna, also known as Kuna or Cuna, are an indigenous people of Panama and Colombia. The current preferred and legally recognized spelling is Guna. In the Kuna language, they call themselves Dule or Tule, meaning "people", and the name of the language in Kuna is Dulegaya, literally "people-mouth".
