中心频率（英: Center frequency） f_0 是带通滤波器的较低的截止频率 f_1 与较高的截止频率 f_2 的算术平均数或者几何平均数。

以几何平均数定义：

\ f_0 = \sqrt{f_1 \cdot f_2}

以算术平均数定义：

\ f_0 = \frac{f_1 + f_2}{2}

带宽 \ f_2 - f_1 如果足够的小，这两个定义是等价的。与此相关的参见Q値。

一般以几何平均值的定义用于仿真电路中。而以算术平均值的定义用于更广泛的领域。
