莱克多巴胺（Ractopamine）是一种β促效剂（β-agonist）药物，是瘦肉精的一种，可以被用来作为动物饲料添加物，用以助长猪、牛、火鸡生出肌肉（俗称瘦肉），减少体脂肪。其肉品残留毒性远低于具有相同功能的其他瘦肉精添加物，在由美国制定的容许残留量下合法使用，将不会对人类造成中毒或短期危害。但目前的实验数据无法确定其是否会对人体产生其他副作用，人体长期摄取残留的莱克多巴胺是否会造成健康问题也尚不清楚，因此仍然存在争议。

美国食品药品监督管理局（FDA）认为在安全残留量内的安全性通过了科学检验，因此允许在饲料中添加使用，但不得直接使用于人体。除美国外，全世界核准于牛只饲料中添加莱克多巴胺的国家，包括加拿大、墨西哥、印尼等三国。****于2012年批准使用。

Ractopamine is a feed additive to promote leanness in animals raised for their meat. Pharmacologically, it is a TAAR1 agonist and β adrenoreceptor agonist that stimulates β₁ and β₂ adrenergic receptors. It is the active ingredient in products known as Paylean for swine and Optaflexx for cattle, developed by Elanco Animal Health, a division of Eli Lilly and Company, for use in food animals for growth promotion.
