Lesser gerbil

The lesser gerbil,Gerbillus gerbillus, is distributed mainly in Morocco, Northern Nigeria to Jordan and Kenya. It is also known as the small Egyptian gerbil. It is much smaller than other gerbils sometimes kept as pets.
