Enjambment
In poetry, enjambment or enjambement (/ɛnˈdʒæmbmənt/; from the French enjambement) is incomplete syntax at the end of a line; the meaning runs over from one poetic line to the next, without terminal punctuation. Lines without enjambment are end-stopped.
