伊丽莎白·盖斯凯尔（Elizabeth Cleghorn Gaskell，1810年11月29日－1865年11月12日），也称盖斯凯尔夫人，维多利亚时代的英国小说家。当时以哥特式的灵异小说闻名，之后的评论家则更推崇她的工业流派小说，主要写中等出身年轻女性的感情，也精细的描绘了当时英国社会不同阶层的生活。她为同时代的女作家夏绿蒂·勃朗特所作的传记也非常有名。

Elizabeth Cleghorn Gaskell, (née Stevenson, 29 September 1810 — 12 November 1865), often referred to as Mrs Gaskell, was an English novelist and short story writer during the Victorian era. Her novels offer a detailed portrait of the lives of many strata of society, including the very poor, and are of interest to social historians as well as lovers of literature. Her first novel, Mary Barton, was published in 1848. Gaskell's The Life of C******te Brontë, published in 1857, was the first biography about Brontë. Some of Gaskell's best known novels are Cranford (1851-53), North and South (1854-55), and Wives and Daughters (1865).
