本鱼分布于印度太平洋区，包括莫桑比克、坦桑尼亚、马达加斯加、塞舌尔群岛、印度、中国、香港、台湾、泰国、越南、柬埔寨、印尼、菲律宾、巴布亚新几内亚、澳洲等地区。
