右枢也称为紫微右垣一，是在天龙座内的一颗恒星。虽然在北半球的天空中不是一颗耀眼的恒星，但在历史由于曾经做过北极星而重要。

虽然在拜耳命名法中称为天龙座α星，但是视星等只有3.65等，比座中最亮的天龙座 γ星（2.23等）暗了许多，在有光污染的环境下经常会看不见。在天龙座中排序在第一，完全是因为他曾经是北极星的缘故。

在良好的观星环境下，右枢很容易经由大熊座的北斗七星在群星中间找到。许多人都知道利用北斗七星勺口外侧的天枢（大熊座α）和天璇（大熊座β）两颗星可以找到现在的北极星，但是鲜有人知道内侧的天玑（大熊座γ）和天权（大熊座δ）的连接指向右枢，就在天权前方7.5度之处。

Thuban (Arabic:ثعبان‎, thuʿbān, "snake"), also known by its Bayer designation Alpha Draconis (α Draconis, α Dra), is a star (or star system) in the constellation of Draco. A relatively inconspicuous star in the night sky of the Northern Hemisphere, it is historically significant as having been the north pole star from the 4th to 2nd millennium BC. It is sometimes known as the Dragon's Tail and as Adib.
