电压分配定则（英语：Voltage divider rule），是指在串联电路中，各负载分到的电压与其阻抗成正比关系。依此原理所实作的电路又被称为分压器。

依克希荷夫电压定律，电源电压为各阻抗的电压降的总合。

V_e = \sum_{k=1}^n V_k = V_1 + V_2 + \cdots + V_n

总阻抗

Z_\mathrm{total} = Z_1 + Z_2 + \cdots + Z_n

依欧姆定律，电路电流为电源电压除以总阻抗。

I=\frac{V_e}{Z_\mathrm{total}} = \frac{V_e}{Z_1 + Z_2 + \cdots + Z_n}

各阻抗的电压降

V_n = \frac{V_e}{Z_{total}} \cdot Z_n = I \cdot Z_n

在只有2个阻抗的串联电路里，相关计算公式可以简化为：

I = \frac {V_\mathrm{in}}{Z_1+Z_2}
V_\mathrm{in} = I\cdot(Z_1+Z_2)

即

V_\mathrm{out} = \frac{Z_2}{Z_1+Z_2} \cdot V_\mathrm{in}
V_\mathrm{out} = I\cdot Z_2
V_\mathrm{out} = V_\mathrm{in} \cdot\frac {Z_2}{Z_1+Z_2}

In electronics, a voltage divider (also known as a potential divider) is a passive linear circuit that produces an output voltage (Vout) that is a fraction of its input voltage (Vin). Voltage division is the result of distributing the input voltage among the components of the divider. A simple example of a voltage divider is two resistors connected in series, with the input voltage applied across the resistor pair and the output voltage emerging from the connection between them.
