Perceived control

Perceived control (PC) can be defined as the belief that one sees he or she has control over their internal states, behaviors and the environment surrounding him or her. There are two important dimensions: (1) whether the object of control is located in the past or the future and (2) whether the object of control is over outcome, behavior, or process.
