中产阶级（英语：middle class）是一种社会阶层，在现代社会中，指拥有一定程度的经济独立，例如有安定、较高薪酬的工作，在现代社会对社会的发展和稳定起很大的作用，也可以被称作小康阶级，但有时贫富差距大时可能位于社会中间收入却不高。此词常用于专业人士、学者、知识分子，或大企业、公营机构、政府部门的中级管理层，或中小型企业老板，中学、小学、幼儿园校长、教师、社工和护士等。

马克思主义将这一阶层称为“小资产阶级”。中产阶级有时——特别在香港——也被戏称作「夹心阶层」，意即他们夹在社会中层，既不如上流社会人士般享有巨大财富，又不像低收入人士般能享受相对大的社会福利保障。

The common measures of what constitutes middle class vary significantly among cultures. A sizable and healthy middle-class can be viewed as a characteristic of a healthy society.
