Calpack, calpac, kalpac, kalpak, or qalpaq (from Turkish:kalpak[kaɫˈpak]; Kazakh:қалпақ, Kyrgyz:калпак, both [qɑlpɑ́q]; Bulgarian:калпак; Greek:καλπάκι (kalpaki); Polish:kołpak; Ukrainian:ковпак, kovpak) is a high-crowned cap (usually made of felt or sheepskin) worn by men in Turkey, the Balkans and throughout Central Asia and the Caucasus.
