Dronie

A dronie is a self-portrait photograph or selfie taken using a camera attached to an airborne, radio controlled aircraft, typically a drone. The concept of taking a dronie (as an alternative to a selfie) first entered the mainstream in 2014 and coincided with a relatively sudden increase in the availability of relatively cheap, camera bearing multicopter drones. Was coinphrased and made popular by Jakeb Hone and his world travel dronies featured on his youtube channels "translatejake" and "lingafy".
