海林檎是已灭绝的一类棘皮动物，是棘皮动物中最古老、骨骼组织最简单的一纲。形状为球形，与苹果类似，故名（林檎为苹果的古称）。具有萼和腕，萼部骨板（萼板）多达13至200块，萼板上具有板孔，沟孔系统复杂。海林檎纲约有100属左右，多生活在奥陶纪和志留纪，于泥盆纪晚期绝迹。

Cystoidea or cystoids, is a class of extinct echinoderms in the sub-phyla Blastozoa, that lived attached to the sea floor by stalks.

They existed during the Paleozoic Era, in the Middle Ordovician and Silurian Periods, until extinction in the Devonian Period.
