甲基环己烷是一种属于环烃类的有机化合物。其于化学工业中有重要用途，也是一些涂改液的主要溶剂。

使甲苯与氢气在 150℃、约 11 MPa 的压力下进行加成反应（持续 5 小时），可制得较纯的甲基环己烷。

若要精制，可用浓硫酸、水和 5%的氢氧化钠溶液依次洗涤，再用脱水剂干燥，最后进行蒸馏可获得精制产品。
