Cotgrave is a town and civil parish in the borough of Rushcliffe in Nottinghamshire, England. It is located about 5 miles (8 km) south-east of the centre of Nottingham. The village sits at the edge of the South Nottinghamshire Wolds about 131 feet (40 metres) above sea level. Cotgrave has a population of 7,373 people, reducing to 7,203 (but including Owthorpe) at the 2011 Census.
