繁殖，或生殖，是透过生物的方法制造生物个体的过程。繁殖是所有生命都有的基本现象之一。每个现存的个体都是上一代繁殖所得来的结果。已知的繁殖方法可分为两大类：有性生殖以及无性生殖。

无性繁殖的过程只牵涉一个个体，例如细菌用细胞分裂的方法进行无性繁殖。无性繁殖并不局限于单细胞生物。多数的植物都可进行无性繁殖。常见的无性繁殖有营养繁殖、出芽生殖、断裂生殖、孢子生殖等。通过离体植物组织培养，也是一种无性繁殖的手段。一种学名为Mycocepurus smithii的蚂蚁也是用无性繁殖的方式繁殖后代。

而有性繁殖则与配子之结合有关。例如人类的繁殖就是一种有性繁殖。
