Baalis
Baalis (Hebrew:בַּעֲלִיס Ba‘ălîs, "son of delight") is the name given in the Book of Jeremiah for the king of Ammon. He instigated the murder of Gedaliah, the Babylonian-appointed Jewish governor of Jerusalem.
