疟蚊属（学名：Anopheles），别称按蚊，是蚊科（Culicidae）下的一属，成虫的特征是翅膀大多数有斑，停留时身体与停留面保持一角度。其中有30—40种是疟原虫属生物的寄主，会传播疟疾给人类。冈比亚疟蚊（Anopheles gambiae）是其中最著名的一种，因为它是最危险的疟原虫恶性疟原虫（Plasmodium falciparum）的宿主。国际自然保护联盟物种存续委员会的入侵物种专家小组（ISSG）列为世界百大外来入侵种。

而有一部分的疟蚊也是犬心丝虫症的病原体，犬心丝虫（Dirofilaria immitis）的宿主。其他还包括丝虫科的寄生虫，例如：班氏丝状虫（Wuchereria bancrofti）及马来丝虫（Brugia malayi）等。蚊科的其他种类，例如斑蚊，也是多种寄生虫的宿主。

Anopheles /əˈnɒfᵻliːz/ (Greek anofelís: "useless") is a genus of mosquito first described and named by J. W. Meigen in 1818. About 460 species are recognised; while over 100 can transmit human malaria, only 30–40 commonly transmit parasites of the genus Plasmodium, which cause malaria in humans in endemic areas. Anopheles gambiae is one of the best known, because of its predominant role in the transmission of the most dangerous malaria parasite species (to humans) – Plasmodium falciparum.
