Anastrepha is a genus of tephritid or fruit flies in the family Tephritidae.

Anastrepha is one of the most species diverse genus of Tephritid flies in the American tropics and subtropics, with more than 200 described species. They are also economically important fly genus of the region, including a number of major fruit pests.
