Yonghe District

Yonghe District (Chinese:永和區; pinyin:Yǒnghé Qū; Pe̍h-ōe-jī:Éng-hô-khu) is an inner city district in the southern part of New Taipei, Taiwan. Yonghe District is the smallest district in New Taipei City. It is primarily a residential area, and serves as a bedroom community for industry in Taipei and surrounding areas. With around 40,000 inhabitants per square kilometer, Yonghe is the densest district-level subdivision in Taiwan, and one of the densest local government subdivisions in the world.
