XTC
XTC were an English post-punk band from Swindon, active between 1976 and 2005. Led by songwriters Andy Partridge and Colin Moulding, the band enjoyed some chart success with the UK and Canadian singles "Making Plans for Nigel" (1979), "Sgt. Rock (Is Going to Help Me)" (1980) and "Senses Working Overtime" (1982). Initially a touring and performing group, in 1982 they became a studio-based project centred on Partridge, Moulding, and guitarist Dave Gregory with various session musicians.
