Alimena is a comune (municipality) in the Metropolitan City of Palermo in the Italian region Sicily, located about 80 kilometres (50 mi) southeast of Palermo. As of 31 December 2013, it had a population of 2,096 and an area of 59 square kilometres (23 sq mi).
