在1931年6月27日，一颗不寻常的无球粒陨石撞击在泰塔温。这颗陨石主要由辉石和矿物组成，外观呈现绿色，类型是罕见的古铜无球陨石。这种陨石被认为是来自灶神星的火成岩沉积的样品。

Tataouine or Tatooine (Berber: Tiṭṭawin, meaning "eyes" or "water springs"; Tunisian Arabic:تطاوين‎  Taṭwīn), also transliterated as Tatahouine, Tatahouïne, or Tatawin, is a city located in southern Tunisia. It is the capital of the Tataouine Governorate. The below ground, "cave dwellings" of the native Berber population, designed for coolness and protection, render the city and the area around it a tourist and film makers attraction.
