Shakila

Shakila is a singer-songwriter.

At the age of nine, Shakila was invited to perform on a television show. After completing her studies she became a professional performer in 1990. That year, she released her first album.

Shakila also writes poetry. She was the featured artist on the album ‘Operatica-Shine’, which includes two of her performances. She has released over twenty Persian albums. In 2012, she released multiple singles such as “Fall Away”, “El Corazon (My Heart)” and “Xmas”. In addition to these singles, Shakila's first crossover "English" album 11:11 City of Love was released worldwide.
