影子股，股市词语，是指某上市公司的行业，跟另一间准备上市的公司行业相似，这间上市公司便称为「影子股」。因为新股上市后多会被炒上，所以影子股亦率先被炒上。不过，由于影子股股价上升与该公司表现无直接关系，所以炒风完结后股价或会回落。

Shadow stock is a stock of an already-listed company which has the same or similar industry as a new-listed company. Since the stock price of new-listed companies mostly boosts up after being listed in a stock market, shadow stocks may also boost up to cope with the trend. However, as the increase in shadow stock price is irrelevant to the performance of the companies themselves, the stock price may drop again after such increasing power fades.
