埃尔温·鲁道夫·尤则夫·亚历山大·薛定谔（德语：Erwin Rudolf Josef Alexander Schrödinger，1887年8月12日－1961年1月4日）生于奥地利维也纳，是奥地利一位理论物理学家，量子力学的奠基人之一。1926年他提出薛定谔方程，为量子力学奠定了坚实的基础。他想出薛定谔猫思想实验，试图证明量子力学在宏观条件下的不完备性。

Erwin Rudolf Josef Alexander Schrödinger (German:[ˈɛɐ̯viːn ˈʃʁøːdɪŋɐ]; 12 August 1887 – 4 January 1961), sometimes written as Erwin Schrodinger or Erwin Schroedinger, was a Nobel Prize-winning Austrian physicist who developed a number of fundamental results in the field of quantum theory, which formed the basis of wave mechanics: he formulated the wave equation (stationary and time-dependent Schrödinger equation) and revealed the identity of his development of the formalism and matrix mechanics. Schrödinger proposed an original interpretation of the physical meaning of the wave function.
