Rhotacism

Rhotacism (/ˈroʊtəˌsɪzəm/) may refer to an excessive or idiosyncratic use of the letter r, the inability to pronounce (or difficulty in pronouncing) r, or the conversion of another consonant into r.

The term comes from the Greek letter rho, denoting "r".
