石楠（学名：Photinia serratifolia），是蔷薇科石楠属下的一个种。分布于中国大陆的陕西、甘肃、河南、江苏、安徽、浙江、江西、湖南、湖北、福建、广东、广西、四川、云南、贵州，**，日本，印度尼西亚，常生长在海拔1000-2500米的杂木林中。花香气浓郁；萼管钟状5裂，雄蕊约20个；子房下位，2－4室，每室有胚珠1颗。果实为小型梨果，直径4－12 mm，内含种子1－4颗，颜色鲜红，数量很多，秋季成熟并能安然越冬。其果实是某些鸟类的食物，包括鸫、太平鸟和椋鸟，这样种子可以通过鸟类粪便传播。

Photinia serratifolia (syn. Photinia serrulata), commonly called ******ese photinia or Chinese photinia is a flowering shrub or tree in the Rosaceae family of flowering plants, found in mixed forests of China, ******, Japan, the Philippines, Indonesia, and India. It grows typically 4–6 m (13–20 ft), sometimes up to 12 m (39 ft), tall. Its leaves are toxic due to the presence of cyanogenic glycosides.
