Parma Heights is a city in Cuyahoga County, Ohio, United States and a western suburb of Cleveland. Parma Heights is surrounded on three sides by the larger city of Parma.
The current mayor of Parma Heights is former city council president, Mike Byrne, who was elected in November, 2009 and sworn in during January . Byrne replaced Martin K. Zanotti, who was appointed mayor in 2000, upon the retirement of long-time mayor Paul W. Cassidy. Zanotti, who was elected in 2001 and reelected in 2005, opted not to run again.
