扬·帕拉赫（Jan Palach，1948-1969）是捷克攻读哲学的大学生，1968年8月华沙公约组织的军队入侵捷克，他为对表示抗议，于1969年1月在布拉格市温赛斯拉斯广场自焚而死，后来该广场以他为名。他被视为英雄和希望的象征，受到群众悼念。****年布拉格曾举行盛大群众示威，纪念他逝世20周年。

Jan Palach (11 August 1948 – 19 January 1969; Czech pronunciation:[jan ˈpalax]) was a Czech student of history and political economy at Charles University in Prague. He committed self-immolation as a political protest against the end of the Prague Spring resulting from the 1968 invasion of Czechoslovakia by the Warsaw Pact armies.
