金线天竺鲷，又称金带天竺鲷，为辐鳍鱼纲鲈形目鲈亚目天竺鲷科的其中一个种。

本鱼分布于印度西太平洋区，包括红海、毛里求斯、塞舌尔群岛、马达加斯加、马尔代夫、科摩罗、可可群岛、日本、韩国、**、越南、印尼、菲律宾、新几内亚、澳洲、所罗门群岛、斐济、马里亚纳群岛、新喀里多尼亚、帕劳、东加、马绍尔群岛、萨摩亚群岛等海域。

Ostorhinchus cyanosoma is a Cardinalfish from the Indo-West Pacific. It grows to a size of 8cm in length although the average length is 6cm. It lives in clear water areas of lagoons, and shallow reefs. It inhabits waters from 1 to 50m and makes its home under ledges, in holes and aggregations, and in between the spines of sea urchins. Although it can go down to 50m it usually stays at around 1 to 15m. The fish is colored with a blueish tinge with six orange-yellow stripes. Ostorhinchus cyanosoma is harmless to humans.
